CPD is Changing

We have now launched the rebranded CPD Academy, Tugaru. We want to reassure you that despite the name change, design overhaul, and system upgrade to Kentico 8.1, it is still business as usual. We will continue to honour our contracts with you and you can expect the same service, delivered by the same team.

We want to bring Tugaru to a wider, global market – something we hadn’t really done previously. This is reflected in our design choices, the decision to create a new brand name that doesn’t have any preconceived ideas or products associated with it (well in English at least!), and our decision to build upon and optimise our already incredibly powerful learning management system to create something not seen in the market at present.

The world of eLearning is changing rapidly, and we want to be at the forefront. Over the last few months, we have invested our time and energy into evaluating and improving upon our Learning Management System, formerly called the CPD Academy, so that we can provide the highest standard of learning solutions.

As a result, we have redesigned the look and feel of the site, redesigned the interface of the LMS, upgraded the system to Kentico 8.1, and even changed the name to Tugaru!
We are also developing a new system, Tugaru Adapt, which utilises Kentico EMS features to provide a more personalised learning experience. We will be updating the website with news of this shortly, so keep your eyes peeled to find out more.

What does this mean for you?

Essentially it is:
  • A new name
  • A new visual design
  • Built on a newer version of Kentico (8.1)
It is entirely up to you as to whether you want to make the switch over with us. We will continue to provide the same service to our existing clients, and will continue to work with you as we have been doing.

Upgrade

We are offering an upgrade service now that will affect your CPD system both in terms of the visual design and the backend system.
We recommend upgrading to Kentico 8.1 because:
  • The additional features such SharePoint Integration built in, effortless contact import, better online forms, and better site performance analytics to help you see how users are engaging with the system.
  • More intuitive behind the scenes user interface, allowing you to manage your LMS with ease
